HAUCHABFONTEIN
Whilst visiting Sossusvlei one really aught to make the small detour to this spring for swimming, especially after one's hard morning of activity at Deadvlei. Entry for the spring is a mere N$50 p.p. The farm has nice campsites available. Accommdation options are available just down the road at Zebra River Lodge who make the most amazing zebra roladen dish.
It is well worth mentioning that not to far from Hauchabfontein is the farm Hammerstein on the way South which has both camping and lodging. What is however of note is the game drive that is offered there at quite an affordable rate, my experience there with their rhinos was fantastic!
